Possets® Naturals
Possets Naturals is our fragrance line made of entirely natural perfuming ingredients: minimally processed essential oils, resins, and materials. Possets will not use any synthetics or "nature identical" chemicals in Possets Naturals. The carrier oil for Naturals is an odorless organic vegetable oil. You need a carrier so that the individual essential oils are not so strong as to be harmful or overwhelmingly strong. (Think about full force thyme oil...that is not too pleasant but it is beautiful in small amounts). Possets is made from as many certified organic ingredients as possible. Please note: some things cannot be certified as organic by anybody, they are natural but cannot meet the standards for 'organic'. But, the point of Possets Naturals is to make cutting edge gorgeous scents out of the good things which Nature hands us. Of equal delight is our dedication to breathing new life into antique recipes and cause you wonder how you ever got along without them!
Ault Park-A magnificent floral which gives the impression of a well tended urban park in the midst of its full bloom. The melange features roses but they are part of the harmony, not of the diva sort. This is just full lovely summer at her zenith. If it were colored, it would be the richest pink and clear white. A Snowflake in the Martini (Peppermint top note) Imagine an inky dark night in winter. You are on the veranda with a perfectly made martini in hand. The Lavender Water Collection:
A perfume convention from the past, lavender water was a mainstay cologne. I have modernized this antique concept to appeal to 21st century sensibilities. My lavender waters have a base of organic jojoba oil and so last much longer than water or alcohol based perfume.
Lavender Water-Le Soleil-Classic Lavender Water that manages to capture all the sunshine which lavender thrives on. Rich with clementine, citrus, and bright suave resinous medley. An uplifting blend, great for those times when you could use a nice cup of tea but can't have one. Here is where I have accentuated the citrus snap which goes so well with lavender. Lavender Water-Les Fleurs-Subtle yet pleasingly right, Lavender Water Les Fleurs gives the illusion of a sun-side cottage garden where there is lavender blooming accompanied by all manner of sweetly scented early summer blossoms. Each has its role to play, but all are too well mannered to break the harmony. In this case the whole is more alluring than simply adding up the parts. Lavender Water Les Espices (Spices)-Les Espices is a tour de force of what a perfume can be when spices are not handles as a cliche. Lavender is the unifying force here, and it flirts with rich clove and other pungents yet never forgets its manners. Smooth and not volatile, I think you will find this one charming but profound.
