Zelda
A combination of sweet and tart, which makes me think of powdered sugar and fresh lemons. Or lemon frosting. There is also a clean, slightly soapy note in there, like freshly laundered clothing. It's a bright, sunny scent, very nice for summer.

Re: RETOUR!!!!
I love retour! I ordered some OAR kitties to add to what I call my "kitty caravan" lined up on my dresser top.

Re: Sophie (OAR Cat, Yule 09)
Black cherries, incense, some spice, such as cloves, and rosemary. It's potent, but not overpowering. This is a good scent for fall and winter.

Re: Pauline - The Joy of Autumn (Fall 2008)
Sweetened coffee with cream, and something buttery, like freshly baked bread. I also smell vanilla and a touch of milk chocolate. Behind it all, there's the chrysanthemums. It's like sitting on the back porch near an autumn garden, while drinking coffee. It has just the right amount of sweetness.

Re: 5 Collections a Year, Too Much?
This is a tough question. I think I agree with what Petticoats said earlier. I enjoy seeing the new collections come out, and the use of the themes is so creative. But when it came to purchasing scents this past year, the ones I bought were all from Retour-the Kitty-palooza and the Retour that came ...

Re: What Was Your Favorite Theme for a Collection?
My favorite was the OAR kitties. I love cats and my two cats are both adoptees, so I liked knowing that some of the proceeds were going to help cats who needed homes. The scents themselves were wonderful too; I liked all the ones I've tried. I'm really sorry that there won't be any new kitty scents,...

Re: Pomona
It smells buttery and spicy, but mellow, too, rather like cinnamon cake, with a background of patchouli. There's also a hint of orange. Similar to Morgan Le Fey, but more subtle.

Cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg against a background of patchouli. It makes me think of good quality patchouli incense. It has good staying power, too.

Re: Eloise (OAR Cat - Yule 2010)
It would be hard to choose a favorite OAR Kitty scent, but this one is definitely a beauty. I smell fresh coffee and Golden Delicious apples. There is also an autumn floral in there that makes me think of chrysanthemums and damp earth. It is elegant, not too sweet, and a little bit somber, too. A bo...

Re: RETOUR!!!!!
Lead me not into temptation--it's Retour Time! So many appealing choices. It's hard to decide. But I think I will be getting some kitty scents, because after the Kittypalooza was over, I wished I had ordered more.
