Re: What Do You Want For Yule?

Oh I hope you will include a Bouguereau! This portrait called "Mimosa", besides being cool, includes one of my favorite scents, mimosa! http://www.artnet.com/artists/william-adolphe-bouguereau/mimosa-tNEAzrGkHj9mK2GhNvYgfw2 Or the less fortunately named but more attractive "Head of a ...

Re: Testing My DNA

I looked into the matter a little more, and I think I solved the mystery. Here is the photo I found of my great-great grandfather Edward Duncan Leet, and his son from his first marriage. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y283/neezerbean/EdwardDuncanLeet.jpg Edward looks like a white guy to me with hi...

Re: Testing My DNA

I was given the Ancestry DNA kit as a gift, and I just got the results today. I am 37% Western European, which I believe means Germany and/or France. 34% from Great Britain, 12% Ireland, 10% Scandinavia, and the remaining 7% is composed of traces from the Middle East, Italy, Greece, and the Iberian ...

Re: The Mystery of Amping

Or maybe it works like the way we see colors, you know how all of the spectrum gets absorbed by something except for a certain color, say blue, and that blue color is what you end up seeing. Maybe your skin burns off or absorbs most of the other scents except for the one it has chosen to amp, and th...

The Mystery of Amping

I am still trying to figure out which notes work on my skin and which ones do not. I wish I could rewrite some of my older reviews, because in my inexperience I used to accuse the scents which did not work on me of having one note that overpowers the rest. Now I know that when this happens it is usu...

Re: The Hunt for a Men's Scent, aka Needle in a Haystack

That has only happened to me once. I was with a group touring Mammoth Cave, and every time we passed this one guy (another tourist) I wanted to just stop and smell him. He was wearing far too much cologne, but it was fantastic stuff. I have this feeling it must have been Gravity by Coty. I don't hav...

Re: Asmodeous (the demon who kills bridegrooms)

I am still under orders not to wear this scent during the day (I'm going home tomorrow thankfully) but I have been secretly putting some on right before bedtime just to be rebellious. Tee hee! By morning the cardamom spice attack is over, and what remains is very attractive I must say. I am a huge f...

Re: Asmodeous (the demon who kills bridegrooms)

Yes, I should add that mine is almost certainly a personal problem. Asmodeus and my skin chemistry just don't get along I guess. It is probably very beautiful on everybody else!

Re: Asmodeous (the demon who kills bridegrooms)

I was expecting this to smell like a lighter, amber-free version of Heka, maybe something sort of softly herbal with a smooth background from the musk and pumpkin. I was wondering if it would have a pheromone note in it after it warmed up for a while, but if it does I can't tell. Upon opening the bo...

Zombie: woody, smoky, dark, sensual
Glory! *swoons* Just four adjectives and I already regret not ordering that one. :gaah:
