Cambienne 2007

Lamp Black = black pepper!

::puts down pepper shaker::

I forgot - don't add pepper to the Master Chef's skillfully prepared cuisine! :shamed:

Cambienne 2007

I just sniffed Oct. 11 Cambienne (I was recalling it from memory earlier): I pick up on dried leaves in addition to apple. The tiniest bit of smoke (very little). Actually, it would probably layer really well with "Halloween", if you want to turn up the heat. :smile: Oh, and here's another great lay...

Cambienne 2007

Yes - it has the Cambienne "base" with some apple and slight smoky notes. Imagine Cambienne with a bit of "Pippin" (or Spook) and a dab of "Halloween". Hope that helps! :beret:

Help please! Would I like ultramarine blue?

I also think you would like Ultramarine Blue. I don't get much lavender at all in that perfume...it's not medicinal or astringent in the least. In fact, I think of this scent as a vanilla cupcake with blue icing. :bigsmile:

Help me make a sample pack for my BPAL SW?

Hi, sfisher! I'm with Puck regarding Madame X - I don't think of Madame X as foody, either, so I also agree that it would be a good choice for someone who doesn't like foody/gourmand perfumes. So your original thinking to include it was just fine!

Depression

Depression is a dark and brooding lilac scent. This is the nighttime sibling to Lavender Corset. It's the same lilac note, with the tangy quality mentioned above.

Hmmm, I have to give this one some time and thought. :oops:

Grander Announcements from 9/26 Onward...

I read the editorial by our resident cat therapist, Dr. Sam. Forget "Dr. Phil", Dr. Sam is where it's at! I love his "don't worry, be happy" advice. Plus, Dr. Sam is a really sweet, humble guy - success and fame simply have not ruined him. :cat: http://www.possets.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=11&...
