Welcome, Jennie and Tom--I'm so happy Possets will be continuing, but started to cry when I read this thread.

Vanilla! No butter, just vanilla with that cool, creamy gelato note. This is so beautiful! It isn't foody or heavy, but it is undeniably vanilla. This smells like no other vanilla scent I own--and I have a vast collection of vanillas! The throw is medium I'd say, and like the other gelatos, it lasts...

I have to add that a couple hours after I posted the review, I was walking down a hallway at work, and passed a woman who stopped and exclaimed, "You smell wonderful!"

I love when that happens.

This one stays pretty close, but it lasts for hours. Although now (after 8 hours) it's mostly the gelato note, with a whiff of rice milk.

In the bottle this is buttery milk with that cool, creamy note I have noticed in all of the gelato scents I've tried so far. This is indeed creamy, cool gelato with a rice milk note!

It doesn't change much from wet to dry, and settles into a wonderfully gentle, comforting scent.

In the bottle: This is a gorgeous, bitter chocolate scent! I have never smelled a chocolate like this. This is not brownies, cake, or candy. After a few mintues, the bitter chocolate merges with a cool creaminess that isn't overly sweet. Initially, this didn't seem like a strong fragrance at all, so...

On my skin, Perkin is white chocolate and pineapple. I know the notes say vanilla cream, but it's white chiocolate, and one of the nicest I've ever worn! This is such a unique combination and it works really well. It's a perfect balance of creaminess and tartness. Good throw and lasts for hours. Love!
