Re: Silver Cedar
This is really delightful. It starts off heavy on the cedar and then settles into a light silver/cedar tone that is just right for almost any time, any day, any event. Congrats!--ya' done good! I'm ordering more.

Re: Spring Retour
What has happened to Venus Black? I ordered, and received, one small bottle of it, only to discover that it's one of my all-time favorites. Suddenly, it's no longer there--just when I wanted to order a huge bottle. Out of an ingredient? Gone forever?

Re: Silver Oude
Wow! is a perfect description--this is really yummy without being overwhelming. I pick up the silver more than the oude, but it's such a seamless blend that I may just be imagining that. I'm certainly going to order more of this. 30m? I think so.

Re: Bolero (Ravel)
I'm liking this better more than 12 hours later. It has devolved into a slightly sweet aura that's quite pleasant.

Re: Bolero (Ravel)
On me, it doesn't go green. It's definitely lilac flowers, punched up a good bit to make a rather strong perfume. I recommend you not slather this one on--I put on about half what I usually do, and it's obviously a bit more than I should wear. Overall, though, it's a rather nice perfume. Not one I'd...

Re: HopHead (Unknown)
The amber is prominent on me. I'd say it's more powdery than not. So it may not be right for you.
But then, who can predict what will happen when a perfume is on another person?

Re: HopHead (Unknown)
I have to second everything said about this one. It was so COFFEE!!!! in the bottle that I was afraid I'd hate it, but indeed it went amber when I put it on (immediately!), and has settled down to something rather nice.

Re: Partus (sToa)
Beautiful! Every time I think Fabienne has created something that can't be excelled, she does something like Partus. I can't separate out any particular scent in this, though it has the beauty that has accompanied nearly every grey musk blend I've tried. When I tried it first, just out of the mail b...

Re: Arcturus
I was never able to get a bottle of Antique Lace. But looking for it got me to Possets--a comment that it was similar to The Scent of Angels. I'm SO glad I followed up on that comment! Arcturus is spoiling me rotten. I put on another of the wonderful scents from this series, or one of my all time fa...

Re: Halley's Comet
I find it to be perfectly beautiful once it's well dried on my wrist, with a halo of scent just like the fuzzy look of a comet through the telescope. I understand why Fabienne had trouble describing it, because I can't pick out a single scent from the whole. It isn't a "warm fuzzy" but rat...
