Re: News In 2016
So very sad. Thank you for keeping the forum going. The website is still up, which makes me wonder if maybe someone in her family is going to keep it going? Fabienne was a wonderful artist, as a perfumer and as a writer. I enjoyed her work not just for the perfume, but for the stories that went alon...

Re: Review Requests and Random Stuff
Well. I have to say for me Peppermint Pig is the Nocturne of this years Yules. It's so much more than a simple "candy" scent, the dry down is amazing, and I get the added benefit of a slight cooling sensation from the peppermint. I promise you, I will wear the :cuss: out of this in the war...

Re: The Vintage Perfume Thread
I recently got a bottle of Youth Dew EDP and love it, but my experience of the "old" Youth Dew was trying it on in a department store and being quite overwhelmed. They also sell the bath oil, it's available on the website. I wanted to try that as well. Habanita. I loved that one, I have a ...

Re: Dad and his tumor...Fernando...or Ms. Rodriguez....
My daughter's godmother who was my work partner for many years had a brain tumor removed about 13 years ago. She was out of the hospital and doing absolutely fine with no adverse effects, it's amazing. The thing was the size of a lemon, they took it out and she was back driving and working before yo...

Re: Flaming Angel

I sort of love this one. Indeed I get a very different scent from what I was imagining, but to me the top note is a wonderful almost lipsticky thing, which holds steady for quite a while. I don't get a whole lot of burning or smoke. Actually quite wearable.

Re: The Mystery of Amping
This is a topic that really intrigues me. I turn things completely sugary, fortunately I love sugary stuff. Possets are mostly 80 percent sweet to me. Love them though, but it's funny like the above poster points out Zombie is all marshmallows all the time for me, and Howl is a big old cupcake. I ju...

zokay, this one is weird! But good!
I'm still testing this, it's very deep, and I am sort of covered in Moonbux and Damned Souls (they are all over my sweater, delicious) so I think my brain is confused...stand by for more...

Disclaimer! I tend to turn everything sweet.
The snow note in this is lovely, but I amp sugary things to the nth degree. Lucky I love them!

This is awesome.
Super rich, and dries down to an amazing deep totally not plasticy vanilla. Like a dolls head in heaven.
