Re: News In 2016

It's been around a year or so since I've posted in the forums, and some months since I've been on the site, but I went to the site today, saw nothing had really changed... and then scrolled past an Ajevie article on FB about Fabienne's death... what? This is crazy. This woman was supposed to live fo...

Re: The Funeral Dirge (Chopin)

I completely agree that this has a chypre vibe to it. It's hard to describe, but it does smell green to me. Green, musky, and lightly sweet. This scent is so delectably autumnal. It's my favorite out of the decants I got, when I thought that Pavane would have won me over. This needs to be permanent...

Re: Myrtle of Venus

I wish that I could write a poetic review like Maya. > w o But here are my :2cents: : Myrtle of Venus is very simple on me. It smells about the same on my skin as it does in the bottle. I have no idea what myrtle smells like, but I believe that the musk tapers down the peach/apricot nicely. It isn't...

Re: Sicilian Summer 2014

I hope Ajevie does the late decant circle! I'm at a shortage of money but six of these perfumes are really calling out to me... Bouquet a la Marechale - I can't resist a violet perfume... Gelato: Pistachio - My favorite flavor of gelato! <3 Gelato: Riso des Anges - A rice and sugar perfume sounds be...

Re: Suggestions/fantasies/ideas for new scents

I would love an herbal scent for the spring or summer. Something refreshing and of cooking quality perhaps.

Re: The Arrow of Love

I wore this one today. For the first hour or so, it smelled like a man who had just brushed his teeth, splashed on some high end after shave, then dropped a kiss on my forehead (so all of the scents lingered close in the air) before going out the door adjusting the perfect Windsor knot in his tie. ...

Re: The Wickedest Idea of All

Alright, I guess I'm the first to review this one... Don't let my review deter you from trying it... So on my skin, The Wickedest Idea of All smells like wintergreen chewing gum (perhaps similar to the green Chiclets...) and cake. It is quite intense and I just couldn't wear it. Had to take it off a...

Re: Grande

Oh, man. This is my favorite of the ones I've tried so far. And I know why too... *cough* oakmoss *cough* It does remind me a bit of Heka. I don't like it more than Heka, but I do like it a lot. It lasts all day, but isn't overwhelming. Something about it leans gourmand (my friend thought it was a f...

Re: Victorian Romance (Feb 2014) Review Circle

Yes. It's bubble gum. The gum note is pretty prominent too. The Wickedest Idea of All to me is mostly wintergreen gum with cake.
