Re: Announcements for 2018
I was looking to leave a review for The Magnificent Red Rose but could find not find it in my searches. Is it hidden somewhere I did not look?

Re: Silver Cedar
As the name implies it opens heavy on the cedar with the silver accord supporting it. It stays like that slowly losing the hard cedar edge by about 45 minutes in. It then transforms into something very similar to silver sandalwood, but this has a syrup like aspect to it on me. I do not have that hap...

Re: Water Witch
Water Witch opens with a beautiful white floral element that is jasmine but there is an aquatic aspect underneath. If anyone has tried Alabama it is very similar to that in the opening. Unfortunately, as I live in New Orleans the jasmine is everywhere and as lovely and beautiful as I find it, it is ...

Re: Rose
They only rose I have tried that was powdery was The Enormous Rose from the Paradise collection but it was more powdered rose petals than rose scented powder. However I have found that mixing Dangerous Oil with Portrait of a Lady has been exquisite with many compliments on it. I realize that may off...

Re: A Lady in Her Own Right (floral)
I completely concur with the prior reviews it is unabashedly Neroli on the open and for a good 20-40 minutes. There is absolutely a sweetness that is less like beeswax than true honey. It has calmed down quite a bit from the initial day I received it and tested it. If you amp sweetness I completely s...

Re: Portrait of a Lady (floral)
This perfume opens with the same rose scent as you get it The Enormous Rose although the opium aspect of that one implies a velvety sensuality that this one does not. Do not get me wrong The Enormous Rose goes from lush strung out on a velvet settee listening to the pontifications of Aleister Crowle...

Re: Spring Retour
Yes I did read all the reviews but sometimes people who may not have left a review might have still tried it. I was hoping there might be one of those lurking in the shadows.

Re: The Pleiades
The Pleiades is this girl now transitioned into a mid to late twenties woman. The rose scent that was playing well with the musky cream scent is now fully combined. The roses in the two smell (Isabella and Pleiades) like the same base rose; IRL it reminds me of a hot pink hybrid tea rose that I used...
