Re: Miss Chudleigh

What a surprise! This is green and wet and soft -- and a morpher on me! Starts out like crisp mint and melon (probably the cucumber) and turns into something like a soft fig leaf, that stays throughout the day. I was intrigued by the description, and SO happy I tried this unusual scent. A real keepe...

Re: The Field of Reeds

BF smelled vanilla at the outset, I was all amber amber! Now, three hours in, the sweet, dry woodiness is sooo comforting. I bought a full bottle based on a whiff from a sample that pulled me in right away! This is a scent that gets noticed, in a subtle, smile-inducing way!

Re: Cambienne: Western Moon

Deep, dark and beautiful indeed! I get those gentle incense tones -- muted and yes, kinda brown-buttery! The "fruity" part smells like cognac-ed cherries or something. This is a big fave in my book.

Re: The Namaste Thread

Very comforting thread -- we all go through these things, but we don't all take the time to analyze them! Bravas to all who posted above! My boyfriend has a step scale he brings up for lots of things, that seems to apply here> AWARENESS -- AWKWARDNESS -- SKILL -- HABIT Being aware that a solution wo...

Re: Vigor (Fitness fragrances: Cardio Workouts)

Sometimes I wonder how much "name" affects "mood." I really want to call this something like "Summer Stream" (I know, boring name...) -- but it has a freshness (lavender and grapefruit) and a brightness to it that (if I didn't know it was called "Vigor") -- I might find quite relaxing! This will sta...

Re: Death (The Pardoner's Tale)

What a surprise! This is a real 'developer!' Sweet incense Amber with a soft vetiver... Warm and a little bit melancholy in a most touching way. My biggest surprise... Wondering if anyone else got this... First on my skin and still wet it smelled every bit like Jean Nate! Or it hit some memory note....

Re: Cygnus the Swan

This develops beautifully for me. The rose-flecked vanilla edged in fluffy musk dries down to sweet (but not TOO sweet) sugar. Very pleased with this one throughout the day. Stayed with me in a gentle but insistent way.

This fig-lover has found a sparkling keeper! Coconut is low and luscious -- I LIKE coconut, but wanted the fig and got it here in the perfect dose. Thanks!

Re: Terra Nocturna (The Earth At Night)

A wonderful example of perfect blending. Though the violet nods toward the front, even after several hours -- it is a glorious, soft, glowing violet (I have mixed feelings about some violets -- not this one!) I think Fabienne is on a quest to turn non-believers into believers for many notes. This is...
