Re: Billet-Doux (Valentines 2012)
Billet-Doux has such a lovely ink note. I get quite a lot of ink from this one, with a slight backdrop of paper and a floral over all of it that smells old-fashioned, powdery and indistinguishable as a particular flower (though lilac or perhaps rose does come to mind. I don't think it's sharp enough...

Re: Harold & Edith
I'm loving this one. The oakmoss is the strongest note for me, the iris just adds a soft feminine powdery element to it, and the bitter vetiver is a nice sharp background to the powdery main elements. It's a dry sort of green scent. It smells very elegant too. It's not heavy, exactly, but it isn't r...

Re: Washington State (USA collection)
I like the apple in this one, it smells tart to me. Almost like a granny smith, though I don't think that was the intention. Re: Holy Holy Holy
Holy Holy Holy was a lot sweeter than I hoped it might be, though it wasn't too sweet to wear. I like it, but it reminds me somewhat of Washington State, the incense and honey part of that scent seems similar. The incense was not too strong or floral, the sort that I prefer. I get a lot of wear time...

Re: Lovechild - Meltbaby
I'm obsessed with rose and have tried many from Possets, but this one is very different. It does have a fun and youthful air, like something a pre-teen would love. Still, it's pleasant and I love the way it smells. The coconut comes out strongest in the vial and when wet, but when it dries it's most...

Re: Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (Tchaikovsky)
I got a decant of this and have worn it twice. It starts out rather fruity on me, though it's lightened by the floral violet. It feels very cool, like the wine is chilled. I'm not sure what kind of fruit it is--maybe more than one, though I'm definitely getting a sense of a dark fruit of some kind. ...
