Re: The "What are you wearing today and general impressions of it" thread :)
I've been especially stressed out recently. I've been training a new guy at work, and I've been having trouble sleeping--anxiety issues, and maybe a little too much caffeine--and I ordered a custom weighted blanket to try and help with the latter. While I wait for it to be made, I've been wearing Id...

Well Bred, Valentines 2011
With all things well bred but without a hint of haughtiness to it. The straight essence of a rich uncomplicated but highly refined tea combined with the ineffable splendor of a simple green and refreshing heartnote. Three generations of impeccable lineage in a bottle, combined with a perfectly libe...

Re: Valentine Retour
I don't suppose anyone here bought a full bottle of Eleanor of Aquitaine that didn't suit them? I had intended to get a full bottle at retour, but I had a minor financial snafu at the end of February, and decided a few extra decants from Ajevie would do. Foolish, foolish me.

Re: Valentine Retour
I ordered Well-Bred so I can create a thread for it after I try it again. I don't have access to Fabienne's original description for it! I guess it was probably posted during the retour, but I didn't look at it while it was there.

Re: A Cheerfulness of Herbs
This is fascinating. I avoided this initially due to the sandalwood, but I'm not detecting it. Wet on the skin, I'm getting something like a dry (as opposed to fruity) pipe tobacco...but lurking beneath that is a camphorous note. This must be the "head-clearing" aspect Fabienne mentions. I...

Re: Hylas and the Nymphs-Aquatic
To me this is mega aquatic. It tickles my nose the way salty air would. I am not getting an overly fruity or floral vibe, although I do get a whiff of lily...and...is that leather? Which is funny because this is quite different from Ship of Fools, which is my ultimate leather/aquatic. It took me a f...

Doing my usual scent combining today. I have an Aveda hair putty that smells like Ylang Ylang, plus generous lashings of Leda and the Swan and Romping Skyclad. It's the last one that is doing weird things. It smells exactly like I slathered myself in White Monkey Holding Peach balm. (It's an analges...

Re: Amazing group of people
Oh Jennie, I am so sorry to hear that. It seems like a lot of us are going through that right now. My grandmother passed away yesterday, my dad last year, and my mom has lost several friends in the span of a few months. It's overwhelming to be contemplating all of this. I know the best thing you can...

Re: Valentine Retour
Did anyone pick up a decant of Billet-Doux that they didn't like? I have become curious about it, but Ajevie is sold out.
