Re: Cambienne: Black Zero

This is wonderful! Very rich, warm, a little woody, and sweetly musky. Just a fantastic resinous blend. Can't wait to try Fabienne's next incarnation of this one.

Re: Air on a G-String (Bach)

The combo of fruit and smoke creates the most wonderful incense scent! I love this, wish I hadn't already voted, because I would vote for this one! Just lovely.

Re: 1812 Overture (Tchaikovsky)

Does overture have any sweetness from the resins or is it straight up dry?

Re: 1812 Overture (Tchaikovsky)

Does this one tend towards masculine or feminine?

Re: Pas de Deux from the Nutcracker (Tchaikovsky)

I really want to try this one, but the white Amber does worry me a little. Some companies use white Amber notes that are warm and fuzzy on me, but some go oddly soapy and high pitched. I am not sure if I have tried Fabienne's white Amber before. And my danged iPad keeps capitalizing Amber, even thou...

Re: Danse Chinoise (Tea) Nutcracker (Tchaikovsky)

Love this one! The teas and incense go so well together! It really is like walking into a lovely Chinese herbal/tea shop. The incense isn't overly smoky, just a gorgeous waft of a very peaceful incense blended with gorgeous tea notes (my nose is primarily picking out a glorious green tea note). Ther...

Petticoats, it worked out the same for me. At first it wasn't stand-out enough for me. Once it settled, it really started growing on me. Now I love it! Once of my favorites of all the ones I have tried.

This is really pretty! I smell a hint of rose mixed with sweet, slightly fruity, slightly creamy musk. Maybe the rose I'm smelling is actually the hawthorn. At any rate, this smells beautiful, fun, and feminine, but not girlie.

Re: The Lullaby from Hansel and Gretel (Humperdink)

Hands down best gingerbread scent I have ever smelled. It is quite tart and creamy at first, but then it settles on the skin and it is all about the delicious gingerbread surrounded by cream. So good. If you like Fabienne's gingerbread scents, you must have this one. :smi:
