Re: Mississippi-Mud and Passion (USA collection)

I received a froppet of this in early Spring (or late Winter, if you're going by the weather) but didn't start wearing it till recently. When I first opened the vial (without looking at the name) this immediately brought images into my head of summers in the South (and Lana Del Rey songs, which I lo...

Mad Scientist Moments

Has anyone here made a happy mistake with their perfume oils and combined several perfumes (that shouldn't go together) to make something surprisingly awesome? The other day, in a rush to put something on before work, I put on a dab of Possets Eve and a dab of BPAL's Stimulating Sassafrass....the re...

Re: Favorite Five Possets

Like everyone else has said, making a Top 5 is sooo hard. I love Possets. *sigh* Haha ok so top 5 for me would be:

Adamus
Morgan Le Fey
Nefertiti and Akhenaton
JFK and Jackie
Custance

Honorable mentions: Zubeneschemali, Madame X, Massachusetts, Field of Reeds,

Re: Sex in Heaven (Yule 2010)

So I've had this poppet since last Spring, and when I first got it I liked it but I never seemed to wear it because it seemed so sweet and a little simple. I got it out the other day remembering it had coconut and vanilla in it, and now it's at the top of my "next order" list. I love coconut, and on...

Re: The Tisane of the Witch (Fall 2008)

This one is so interesting! I really like it, but it's hard to pinpoint the notes. I definitely get sweet tea, and it's definitely a buttery scent. Very fun!

Re: The Field of Reeds

This was a froppet in my last order (thank you Fabienne!). I wasn't sure I would like this when I first sniffed the vial, but I put it on and wow! To me, it smells like a golden (not fake or plastic-y or heavy) vanilla paired with (blonde?) cedarwood. This is on my "next order" list. It reminds me o...

Re: Zubeneschamali (Yule 2007)

It's been super cold and wintery here lately, and besides copious amounts of hot chocolate the only thing getting me through are delicious smells from Possets. Zubeneschamali is perfect for wintery days! It's dark and more of what I would consider a masculine scent, but it's by no means cologne-y. I...

Re: JFK and Jackie (Valentines - Couples 2013)

I really like this one! To my very untrained nose, this reminds me of Adamus with leather in the background. I agree with gypsyjolie that there is a green element to this and it's definitely unisex. Smells expensive and lovely. I can see wearing this year round, but I think I'll personally like to w...

Re: Madame X

This is such a special blend. It did not immediately scream "sexy" to me, but over time it really has grown to be in my top 5. It is the only fragrance that my boyfriend has actually liked and complimented me on, out of the dozens I've worn around him. It's slightly foody (white cake with raspberrie...

Re: Morgan le Fey (Dreams of Avalon exclusive)

I love this! It's sort of a mysterious dark spice cake smell. I'm not great at describing scents, but this really is great. It's slightly gingerbread-y foody, but mostly just a dark, spicy, warm blend. Mmm! Better than I can describe
