Re: Manticore

roses don't often work on me but I was just so curious about the other notes in this. In the vial I definitely get roses and something "dark". On me in the wet stage the roses shift around a lot I do get the sense that there are a few different varieties. As it dries I definitely get the c...

Re: Grim Reaper 100% Natural

In the vial this stuff is sap green! Upon opening it all I can smell is very spicy pepper. It actually made me cough at first. On me I still get the pepper but it gradually changes to a nice dry hay scent that has a woody kind of quality. I had never smelled a perfume with hay before so I wasn't sur...

Re: Asanbosam (African Tree Vampire)

As I miss the most perfect Halloween scent with chrysanthemums and coffee (Pauline one of the kitties). I have been on a quest for Fabienne to create another like it. this sounds close. But I'm very nervous about the almond, which always smells like maraschino cherries on me. I do adore her coffee ...

Re: Asanbosam (African Tree Vampire)

Huh! SO the almond note in this truly is /bitter/. I was expecting a sweet amaretto kind of almond but that is definitely not what I get from the vial. It is really bitter, like "this stuff will poison me!" bitter but as the description says, this disappears pretty fast after application. ...

Re: Rougarou (The Cajun Werewolf)

Oooh yes. Suuuuper sweet and foody. I feel a cavity coming on just while smelling this! Something about it makes me think of a very sweet pumpkin scent but it is not quite as "creamy" as I find pumpkin scents. It actually reminds me a fair bit of Illusion but with something else. I definit...

Re: Kuchisake-onna (Japanese Black Dahlia)

I agree with Mina, this is truly unique. I love it in the vial, fresh and clean without being soapy (probably the ginger and tea). On my it is resinous with a strange note lingering the background that kind of reminds me of...licorice? but is definitely not actually licorice. Very interesting stuff.

Re: Review Requests and Random Stuff

I know they will be up for abit but I am having fun trying to predict to myself which ones will make permanent. My bets are on Zombie and Amodeus, not sure about the third. Honestly I will eat a hat if Zombie does not make it (probably also be very sad too). Side note, my decants are on their way wo...

Re: Mint

The Thieving Magpie was a fun scent but definitely sweet and foody, it made me think of juicy fruit gum. I like it but had to swap it cause everytime I wore it I felt annoyed, which is kind of funny. If you like sandalwood, Orpheus in the Underworld is a good one (sadly it is gone now and was from H...

Re: Alaska-Shimmering Crystals and Midnight (USA collection)

Making a new review of this. I was actually craving this scent this morning, oddly enough. At first it is indeed minty fresh with eucalyptus. As the day goes on teh eucalyptus stays with me as what I can only describe as a minty-woody base then I get a floral note that is soft and sort of creamy. I ...

Re: Sicily

Bright, citrusy with some nice spiciness. I think I get some of the musk and the airiness of an aquatic. I am not sure it is quite for me but it's nice and I could it working well on others.
