Lovechild - Meltbaby

Treading on the dark side but sweeping by with sugar, the Dark Revel Yules were a study in contrasts but with an emphasis on the thick beauty.

Yes this is one of the very rare rose ones that I really love. Such a fun fragrance.

This is bliss! I'm already wishing I'd ordered a backup, or a big bottle. It's like sinking into a fluffy cloud of ethereal deliciousness. I was afraid before putting it on that it might smell too young for me, but it's not overwhelmingly fruity or overwhelmingly any single thing. Once again Fabienne has pulled off a miraculous balance that doesn't shout any one note, just whispers, "Love me!" :heartrise:

Oh, and, er, if anyone finds that they have a bottle that they don't want... PM me. I want moar of this divinity!

I'm obsessed with rose and have tried many from Possets, but this one is very different. It does have a fun and youthful air, like something a pre-teen would love. Still, it's pleasant and I love the way it smells. The coconut comes out strongest in the vial and when wet, but when it dries it's mostly cherry and rose with the coconut relegated to the background. The rose stuck around by itself for a while after the cherry faded.

It faded rather quickly, though, and didn't last as long as most of my other rose perfumes from Possets. I'm a little disappointed by that, but otherwise I like it. I think I may try layering it with something else to see if it's better that way.
