Possets description:
"There isn't anything more refreshing and tingling good than a dark chocolate mint. Uplifting and satisfying."

At first, the mint blasts out initially, and sort of made me think I wasn't going to like this. It's a strange mint note, with an odd almost spearmint-vibe. I was hoping for the cool linear mint in Luminaria, which is my ideal mint. But as this dries down, the mint mellows and becomes what I was hoping it would be. If you've ever had the girl scout cookies called thin mints-that's what this ends up smelling like in the end. Just basically cool minty chocolate. And I love that, so I ordered a 10 ml bottle because I worry it won't become permanent. It's lovely, not too sweet and quite addicting.

the mint in this *is* an odd mint. kind of menthol-y on me. i think that this will be a great summertime blend, very cooling and pretty.

Yeah I think you're right, it is sort of mentholish now that you mention it. But I find that settles out after a while into a tamer smell. It takes about 20 minutes and that changes-at least on me.

Foodier than I expected, in a good way. In addition to the mint-and-chocolate, the throw also has a certain creamy foody sweetness to it, like coconut flavoring or vanilla. Since the mint itself is not terribly sweet, this is a pleasant addition. Oddly enough, my mom's nose picked up on the sweet creamy note a lot more than the mint.

I had been on the fence about this one last Retour, and I'm on the fence about it again: full-bottle-worthy or no?

It starts off as a comforting chocolate and mint scent. I don't own anything like it, and there's nothing else like it in the Possets collection - as far as I'm aware, that is. The chocolate is dry, dusky and bitter. The mint is refreshing and foody. I do wish it were less "plasticky" (some of the earlier Possets tend to be plasticky on me), but I could live with that if the chocolate and mint stayed as is.

However, it seems to last less than an hour, and dries down into more of the plasticky scent. What a pity!

I like it almost well enough to buy a bottle and plan on keep reapplying fresh. Almost. We'll see - still time to decide.
