On a bed of gentle sandalwood rest two softly animalic musks that encompass a suggestive intermingling of a spot-on lilac accord and a measure of sweet hawthorne.
This is one sexy and classy perfume that will invite dimming of the lights...!

[Petticoats]

This is a classy fragrance indeed! Such an elegant combination of lovely fresh lilac with the slightly wistful hawthorne, and the effect with the musky backdrop is haunting. For some reason I think it will be particularly beautiful on cool, overcast, or rainy days, and I can't wait to test that theory.

This was my first wearing, right out of the mailbox, so I have no doubt that more nuances will emerge. My experience is that with a little time and resting the sandalwood will come forth more, and I can't wait to see how it interacts with the other notes.

I'm so glad I didn't pass up this beauty. An instant Possets classic!
