100% Natural Phaeacia calls to mind the island on which Odysseus was introduced to and aided by the maiden Nausicaa. The combination of wood, spices, flowers and citrus is worthy of a Mediterranean island vacation.

Texas Cedarwood, Bulgarian Lavender, Sicilian Lemon, Indonesian Dark Patchouli, French Coriander.

This starts off with a powerful entrance of lemon and cedar, with the lavender quickly following. The patchouli grounds the scent. The coriander is a surprise delight, adding an intriguing dimension that is not foody at all. Ah, it reminds me of the use of coriander in Hermes Un Jardin Apres la Mousson. However this is better because there is more of it without being too much-perfect! Phaeacea is quite strong and long lasting for a natural, with the beautiful cedar taking center stage. It is one of those oils that makes you keep sniffing your wrist and you want to keep smelling because it is so lovely and comforting. Bravo, Jennie and Tom! :bchamp:

ETA I will need a full bottle of this. The cedar/coriander combo is like nothing I have.

I love this a whole bunch. It is Patchouli heavy to be sure but it isn’t a stinky headshop smell. It is classy and exotic blended with the other notes. Like a beautiful pashmina shawl in a local shop on the best vacation day ever. Perfection.
