I just realized, I don't have a strong reference point for florals. I know some obvious ones (Rose, which has a lot of variation), Jasmine, and honeysuckle. So I've avoided many floral scents just because in general, "floral" doesn't sound appealing. I have to to do a little sniffing around to see if I can pin down some of those scents.

Things that despite my immunity to 50 other things I used to hate are:
Almond (blergh. I like actual ones but not the smell)
Melon, water, honeydew, any kind get it outta here.
Lemongrass. Is not lemon. Love lemon.
Eucalyptus, have to be cautious, too much is not good.
Certain leathers. I still don't want to smell like luggage or fine furniture.
Rosemary. Just no. I do like to cook with it. Love how it smells in the garden.

I thought I knew, but recent purchases from possets made a mockery of it. So, I'm trying it all! Slowly.

lavender, except one blend (bpal)
then I tried Arc of Venus. And it's amazing on me

Posset potentially horrible notes (yay, I've tried enough to find notes that don't work! )
Coconut -universal badness
Most flowers. Unless they're mixed with grounding notes. Isabella, for example, the other notes hold rose in chrck, mostly
Chocolate, for the most part if it's the main note.
Most fruit. Peach is okay, cherry works, but is fleeting.
Apricot, not so much... raspberry amps, a ton, and all blends smell the same. It's not too bad, but, a bit one dimensional.
Some musk..
Silver goes a bit funky. Hoping aging cures that!

Chocolate, but cacao is sometimes ok in non foody blends
Cilantro/Coriander
Oakmoss (my skin invariably turns it bitter)
Lavender/chypres/ferns
Butter, Cream, anything bready or foody other than spices
